ARC proposed to renovate the old Fish Restaurant ‘Loch Fyne’ located in Leeds City Square. We agree it’s a great location in the centre of a busy city, with an unrivalled drinking scene and right outside the Train Station!

The builders first task was obviously to get rid of the terrible fish smell left from the previous occupiers, but it didn’t take long before our engineers were working in a fresh, clean environment.

We worked alongside our long term friends Kilmartin Plowman & Partners Architects, GKF Ltd, Abrahams & Carlisle, Media Frenzy and Data Specialists; Ashwoods.

We were installing a totally new bar and kitchen layout – the footprint of the floors had radically changed from its former state - we needed it complete in just over a month, which was challenging, but we got it done for opening night.

The short programme length wasn’t the only issue, we had to make sure due care was taken at all times, as the building is listed.

We spent a lot of time co-ordinating with various Sub-Contractors & Suppliers, including the Mechanical installer for their increased Air Conditioning supplies and the Lighting Supplier, No-Chintz, for Power & Lamp requirements.
